Perran has been involved in music for most of his life and has amassed a great deal of live performance and studio experience. He approaches each instrument for each song differently, based on what study and experience has taught him about what a particular piece needs. He avoids limitations of thinking and always gives his best. Perran writes, arranges, produces, performs and teaches music with one goal in mind..... Artistic excellence. The guitar is his favorite instrument and loves to play each and every instrument he can because it makes him a better producer, writer and musician. Perran no longer perceives music as "this style" or "that style", but as colors of a musical palette. |

Excerpt from an interview:
"When I was younger instrumentalist, shredding was all that mattered, and the pursuit of the ultimate in chops led me to explore every kind of music that I could find. Along the way I realized that the SONG was what mattered most, so in order to materialize the visions of songs I had in my head, I learned as much as I could about every style that I could. At some point, those stylistic barriers disappeared as the arsenal of techniques and styles I acquired continued to grow".
"I play for what the song needs. From tasteful to tasteless, shredding slamming metal, to soft and dynamic beautiful music, I understand the nuances of contributing to a musical composition and strive to improve in each and every way that I can, each and every day. I play by ear and can also read and write music. I understand production, song writing as well as the deep inner workings of music theory technique and composition. I like the music that is being made today, and yesterday too. Mostly though, I am excited about what is coming tomorrow. If it can be heard, I can play it".
I have some music available. Click here to be directed to the music download section where you may download and listen to some music that I have made available.
